Brick and stone planters can be used many different ways in a landscape design. In the garden, a planter adds visual interest as a hardscape feature and gives elevation to plants that would otherwise be low to the ground. Near buildings, planters can help break up large blank spaces. Brick planters are beautiful by themselves,and can be used for seating when capped with a cement top.

Most plants do well in raised planters because raised planters can be filled with nutrient-rich soil and they drain well. Irrigation for raised beds can easily be installed during the building phase.
